Apple factory recruits 20,000 for iPhone 526 March 2012
Foxconn to produce 57 million handsets per year, according to Chinese media
Ahead of the anticipated iPhone 5 release, reports in Asia suggest that Apple's manufacturing partner Foxconn is recruiting an extra 20,000 employees to assemble the new handset.

em> has reported that the company are building a new production centre in northern China.The paper goes on to say that as long as they meet the required standards, as many employees as possible will be hired.Foxconn has previously been criticised for working conditions and it's believed that some employees are currently striking over a pay dispute.
According to local news in China, Foxconn has already received orders for the next generation handset and will be responsible for 85% of the manufacture.They are also estimating a production run of 57 million handsets per year.
