CES: Acer beTouch E210 smartphone launches06 January 2011
Android 2.2 smartphone wants to be your friend for work and play
It looks like a business device, but according to Acer, the beTouch E210 is good for both work and play.
A fairly slim, rounded handset, the beTouch E210 is an Android 2.2 smartphone mixing touchscreen functionality on the 2.6-inch screen with a full QWERTY ergonomic keyboard and offering easy messaging with push-style email, chat, instant messaging via Google Talk and SMS
MMS presented in IM-like conversational style. There's also a Share button for one-click networking of your status, places, web links, news, pictures and videos via Facebook, Twitter or Youtube.
Other features include 3G+, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectiivty integrated GPS and Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.2 megapixel camera and an FM Radio with RDS.
Available in light silver and shiny black, the E210 will be available in the UK from March 11th, pricing to be confirmed.
