Vodafone will be launching 4G services in London on 29 August 2013 - it's on average six times faster than standard 3G. Then 4G will arrive in Birmingham, Bradford, Coventry, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Nottingham and Sheffield before the end of the year.
Vodafone say it will bring indoor 4G coverage to 98% of the UK population by 2015.
And, Vodafone's 4G promise is that if you have an iPhone 5, Samsung GALAXY S III or GALAXY Note II, simply take it into a Vodafone store - even if you’re still in contract - and they will knock off 75% of your remaining contract charges. So you can upgrade your Vodafone phone early and start a fresh 4G contract.
