Virgin Media coats the Nokia 6700 in pink17 November 2010
Slider handset available on £8.50 a month tariff
Pretty in pink, or so goes the expression. Both new and existing Virgin Media customers can now get hold of the Nokia 6700 Slide in a rather fetching shade of pink. What's more it's available on the MVNO's ultra cheap £8.50 a month tariff. Sign up to this 24 month contract and you'll get 100 free minutes and 100 free texts a month, while existing Virgin Media customers (who already have a landline, broadband or TV service with Virgin Media) will also be spoilt with free landline to mobile calls and unlimited calls to other Virgin Mobiles, while browsing the web with the handset will cost an additional 30p a day.
The Nokia 6700 slide, sports a five-megapixel camera, built-in music player and FM radio and has access to Nokia's own Ovi app store. Virgin Media has thrown in a 2GB memory card for good measure too.
