Are you lucky enough to be going to Glastonbury 2019? If you’re with EE you are even luckier as EE are going to be the technology partner for the sixth year running. EE will be installing the latest 5G network for the festival, making it the UK’s first 5g-connected festival. EE will erect 5 temporary masts across the site to give 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G.
As 5G technology on phones is available yet, festival-goers can try out the 5G via 5G powered WiFi instead. EE are also having super-fast phone charging at their EE recharge tent. You can also buy a Juice Tube Power Bar for £20 and then swap it for free once a day to get a fully charged one!
