Virgin Media launches cheaper talk tariffs20 April 2011
Deals make Virgin Mobile tariffs cheaper for home phone customers
Virgin Media customers have always had the luxury of free calls from their Virgin home phone to any Virgin Mobile. Now Richard Branson's telco is amping up its offer with a new deal that lets Virgin landline users pick from Virgin Mobile tariffs with a saving of up to £8 a month.
Customers on the 'L' (Talk Evenings and Weekends) or 'XL' (Talk Anytime) home phone packages can pick from Virgin Mobile deals that include handsets such as the popular BlackBerry Curve 8520, the recent Android-powered Samsung Galaxy S, or the excellent HTC Desire - and they'll get a discount off the posted price too.
SIM-only 30-day tariffs are available too with a similar discount. Graeme Oxby, executive director of home phone and mobile at Virgin Media said: "As a result of our unique quadplay offering, we are able to be much more innovative with our pricing and this is a great example of where we are able to provide our customers with a compelling way to get more for less."
