Over the air update for Android Honeycomb tablets floating around
If you're one of the early few to own an Android tablet, an update to its Honeycomb OS is floating about already. V3.1 promises to iron out performance issues, with better memory management and faster, smoother transition between programs. Here our favourite new features:
- Homescreen widgets now resizeable
- The Home button on the bottom bar now takes you to the last-used homescreen.
- Support for tons more USB peripherals like keyboard, mouse or digital camera
- Better multitasking and expanded recent-apps list
- Beefed up browser with offline page-saving, HTML5 support and more Quick Controls for webpages and tabs
