APP WATCH: Disney comics for Apple devices27 June 2011
Comic app available for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch
It's available for both the iPhone and the iPod touch, but we suspect the better platform for the Disney Comics App is Apple's iPad tablet.
According to Pocket Lint, the official app is free, but of course, that's only half the story. It's all about the in-app purchases here, with more than 50 comics available at launch, including classic Disney characters such as Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse as well as new Disney stars from the Pixar movies such as Buzz and Woody from Toy Story. All are 59p each once you've got the free app. If that's not enough for your Disney-loving child, there will also be content from Disney films such as the new Tron movie and High School Musical.
