Considering an Apple iPad for that extra-special person in your life this Christmas? (We're considering one for ourselves too.) Three has just announced its tariff plans for the most-hyped product since, uh, the iPhone.
The iPad will be available subsidised on several 24-month contracts, starting at £199 for the 16GB Wi-Fi
3G version on £25 a month. Not so different from Orange's and T-Mobile's recently announced tariffs - except you get a monthly allowance of 15GB versus two.
For the 32GB iPad, you'll shell out £249 upfront; for the 64GB iPad, £349. Both these prices are for a £25
month, two-year contract.
Orange and T-Mobile offer the iPad for the same upfront costs at £25 a month for existing customers and £27 a month for new customers. All contracts are two years long.
