Affordable and musical dual-SIM Symbian smartphone
I know, we're all waiting for the next Windows Phone 7 offering from Nokia, which is likely to be the Nokia Lumia 900. But in the meantime, Nokia is still pushing out Symbian phones, including the newly-introduced Nokia X2-02.
It's a dual-SIM phone with an eye on both affordability and music. Dual-SIM means it's easy to split your life (work and play) or indeed to share a phone. Switching the SIM is easy, with a dedicated SIM manager making control of cards even easier – you can give each card a dedicated name, logo and MP3 ringtone.
Talking of MP3, music is well catered for here, with an MP3 player, dedicated music keys, FM radio and recording, the ability to transit your music through your home or car stereo and audio processing for 'crystal clear' sound through the built-in speaker.
Finishing things off is the Nokia browser, easy access to social networks and email, apps via the Nokia Store, up to 32GB of storage (via microSD card), a 2.2-inch display, a two-megapixel camera and a colour choice of Bright Red, Dark Silver, Orange, Violet and Ocean Blue. So not exactly worrying the top-end smartphone market, but a useful little thing nonetheless. Especially at a price of around €<
