LG puts design at the forefront with L-Style range21 February 2012
The Optimus L3 will be first LG handset to sport "L-Style" design
LG was one of the pioneers of putting style before substance when it came to mobile phones, so we felt a wave of nostalgia when it announced its new strategy led by good looks and mouthwatering design. L-Style is the manufacturer’s new design range and will be first seen in the shape of the LG Optimus L3, to be unveiled at next week’s Mobile World Congress. Other than those we brought you last month, the specs of the LG Optimus L3 are being kept tightly under wraps, but LG is far more forthcoming in terms of what we can expect from its L-Style philosophy.
Made up of five elements, L-Style will include ‘Modern Square Style’ for a more ergonomic grip, while a slimmer look will be achieved due to the ‘Floating Mass Technology’. The ‘Seamless Layout’ will make it easier to bang in the right keys, while the ‘Harmonized Design Contrast’ and ‘Sensuous Slim Shape’ complete with metallic accents and size zero credentials should ensure all L-Style handsets are head-turners for all the right reasons.
Other L-Style handsets on the horizon include the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-powered LG Optimus L5 and Optimus L7, which will sport four-inch and 4.3-inch touch-screen displays respectively – both of which should be unveiled before July this year.
