Company moves closer to official launch
A reported leak has been reported via the Droid-Life website that reveals the name of the forthcoming Motorola tablet as the Droid Xoom. It has to be said, however, that there is some discussion on the official name. Some commentators stick with the leaked Droid Xoom moniker while others say that plain old Xoom will be the name. Whatever the final label, it looks like 'Xoom' will be part of the label, especially as Motorola has been pushing the word through a spate of global trademark hoops of late.< We recently focused on Motorola’s decision to launch a new tablet, highlighting that company’s teaser video that can be viewed on YouTube. Details on that tablet itself are hard to come by but we do hear that a USB port will be included to enable an external modem to be added.< Based on the new Android Honeycomb operating system, the Motorola Droid Xoom will be officially revealed at the CES show, starting next week in Las Vegas.< For up to date PAC Code news
