Not the best timing for giffgaff, after just winning the Which? Best network award, they’ve announced that they are increasing their goodybag prices!The giffgaff £5 goodybag will go up in price to £6 and although the data and text allowances will stay the same, the minutes allowance will double from 150mins to 300mins.
Also, the giffgaff £7.50 will go up in price by 50p to £8 and although the data and text allowances are staying the same, the minutes allowance will also double from 250mins to 500mins.
giffgaff have explained that the increase in price is a way to remain competitive and the giffgaff members using these plans aren’t ‘big data users’ and would prefer more minutes.
These changes will happen on 9th May.
