Follow the arrows to find a cheap pint and square meal
Need a drink? There's an app for that, specifically the Wetherspoon Pub Finder app for iPhone.
Available for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, it uses your GPS (or postcode) to find you the nearest Wetherspoon and Lloyds No. 1 pubs, should you be after a cheap pint. Even better, according to Crave, if directions are a bit of a tough call (after a couple of earlier pints), there's an 'augmented reality mode'. Yes, just follow the on-screen arrows to stagger into the nearest pub. Hopefully avoiding oncoming traffic and people as you go.
You can save your favourite Wetherpubs in the 'My Locals' section, with information on each pub also offered up - contact details, opening times, food and drink menus, and extra features like if notofications of a TV or Wi-Fi. Oh yes, there's even a short history of each pub, should you be interesting in the surroundings you are slumped in.
It's free of course, but the beer certainly isn't. Although, like the food, it's some of the cheapest around.
