Phone that turns into a laptop to finally get new(ish) Android version
If you're a Motorola Atrix user in the UK, there's good news as the latest software upgrade is now available for unlocked handsets.While the update isn't a jump to version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as has been confirmed for the Samsung Galaxy S II, HTC's Android portfolio and Sony Ericsson's Xperia range , it will see the Atrix running Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
If you're eligible for the update, you should have received a notification. Alternatively you can force it by going to System Updates through Settings and About Phone.
If you purchased the phone locked to Orange or T-Mobile, you're going to have to wait a bit longer - although we're told this should only be around a week.
