Android Gingerbread phone clocks in at £99 PAYG
The latest budget handset fighting for a piece of the ever growing Android market hits the shelves from T-Mobile today.
The 'Vivacity', running the Gingerbread OS, is being launched as a multimedia phone and sports a 3.5" WVGA TFT capacitive display which is promising for a handset in this price bracket.It also packs a five-megapixel camera, with a microSD slot supporting up to 32GB for movies, music and other media.
Built by Chinese manufacturer ZTE, the Vivacity is well connected with GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G but like fellow value Android, the Orange San Francisco, it's perhaps the price that could see this handset win.Exclusive to T-Mobile, the Vivacity is available free on a £1
month contract or for just £99 on PAYG - putting it toe to toe with Orange's recently unveiled San Francisco II.
